Our Origin The Orvin Watch company was founded in the Orvin Municipality in the Canton of Bern in Switzerland. It is located in Jura Bernois, the French-speaking Bernese Jura. There were essentially two movements produced by Orvin, the less sophisticated but equally reliable inexpensive mechanism by Ebauche, and the more highly regarded movement from Cortebert with an import code of XOS. The 1950s Swiss Orvin watches were luxury watches sold exclusively in the United States by Sears and Roebuck, holding the exclusive trademark for the American arm of the brand from December 1951 through the late 1970s.

Our Heritage Founded in 1950s, Orvin distinguished itself in the second half of the 20th century as a watchmaker and supplier for 17 Jewels Swiss Made military style mens wristwatch. It is equipped with highly regarded movement from Swiss manufacturer Felsa, Corterbert and A.Schild right after the second world war when the Swiss watchmaking industry dominated the watch market “Swiss mastery in every detail”
